I decided to try quilting my quilt. I may end up ripping it out and asking amandajean to do it but it doesn't hurt to try... I am going to go to Joann's tomorrow morning to get thread and binding and then start... Yikes!
I have to keep reminding myself "it won't be perfect but that's ok, it won't be perfect but that's ok......" wish me luck!

good luck!
good luck! can't wait to see it!
Great job! I cant wait to see the finished quilt!
How is it going? The top is really cute! Just make sure you get it sandwiched correctly, that's very important. Ask anyone who has done it wrong... I'd be one of those...
Your quilt top is lovely. Good luck with the quilting. My friend told me to turn the speed down on my machine to avoid zooming around and another teacher told me to hum something like do da, do da to keep a steady pace. Can't wait to see it.
I know you can do it. The first one is the hardest because of how stressed you get about it. The thing that I learned in the beginning, I still do. I make some practice muslin squares that I layer with batting, and before I put my "real" quilt under the needle, I play with my practice squares. Also, when I'm talking on the phone, I freemotion doodle. It helps make that hand, eye, brain connection and I think it helps me when I quilt.
there are no quilt police....have fun with it.
