"Sibling Weekend"

Ok... I need a few ideas. I am not normally a car riding girl. I have been flying around the country since I was 19 and a flight attendant. Yes, I'm spoiled-- I know. But in a few weekends 4 of my 5 siblings and I are packing up a van and heading south to my brother's house. A "Sibling Weekend". We have done this before but we all lived in the same vicinity then and that was about 10 years ago. Any suggestions on what 5 adults can do in the car for 18 hours? I know, I am probably putting way too much thought into this, but I guess I am so use to entertaining my kids-- I just want to have a few tricks up my sleeve. Did I mention that all of my brothers and sisters are 13-23 years older than me? That I am really the baby? That most of them are grandparents? Thanks for any ideas you can provide! :)

I'm waaaaay jealous! I love a road trip and to be able to take on with my sibs would be just the best. We are all so scattered and the last time we 3 were together was at my Dad's funeral and that's been 20 years ago at least.
Games....hmmmm? How about "stink-pink"? (I dunno the real name)
some one throws out a clue, such as...."rosy odor", and whoever gets it (and it has to rhyme)...answers...(in this case the answer is stink pink). The one who gets it throws out the next clue. You can award points for answering and whoever gets the most points in a given game of say 20 minutes gets a prize. You can make little prize presents to take along.
Stop in NC along the way and visit!

What about those fun books and cards that have all sorts of different questions on them? You can find them in Barnes and Noble or any card/gift store like that. And one is never too old for "I Spy" or "Name that tune." Have fun on your trip!

My sister and I used to have list of things you might see on the road trip: blue van, white barn, KFC, flat tire, bald man etc. Whomever got their list done first won. I'll never be too old to play the alphabet game using road signs. You call out the letter (in order) as you see them on a sign. Have fun!
